Sewing classes, that's what I love doing, sharing my knowledge and seeing your face light up when you make something, it really does warm my heart.
That's all I thought I was going to do this year, just get the sewing classes back up and running, but before I've even started, it's already expanded into products too.

I can't teach sewing without stocking the basics to enable you to continue to sew.
Quality threads, in the studio I have 2 mini Gutermann thread stands, one being the fantastic all rounder, rPet Sew All thread, made from 100% recycled plastic bottles and I love that the spool can be recycled in your household waste too. The other is Maraflex, an elastic sewing thread which you can sew stretchy fabric, using a straight stitch.

Fabrics, whilst I dream of having a fully stocked shop once again this just isn't possible in the studio.
It's back to basics, with quality core fabrics, in a few shades, which together should create your wardrobe staples. Oeko Tex fabrics, with natural fibres where possible.
In selected shades to mix and match navy, burgundy, chocolate and seasonal offerings too.
Dressmaking fabrics are versatile that you can make other projects, such as bag making too.
I'm being picky about what fabrics to stock, they need to be able to work hard, last long, wash well. Slow, quality, fashion all the way !!
